Who we are

Weld (weldhtml.com) is operated by The Digerati Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”). This policy covers this website, a pre-launch page where you can register interest in the Weld beta. For anything in it, including access, correction or deletion requests, email support@weldhtml.com.

The short version: we collect only what the form asks for, we never sell or share your details, and the only email you will get from us is about the beta you asked about.

What we collect

• Your email address: required, so we can tell you when the beta opens.
• Your name: optional, only if you give it.
• Three optional answers: who builds your sites, where the site ends up, and whose Figma file it is. These help us decide who to invite first. You can leave every one of them unanswered.
• Your IP address and browser user-agent: recorded with the submission and used to rate-limit the form and block automated abuse.

That is the entire list. There is no account, no password, and nothing to upload on this site.

How we use it

• To email you when the Weld beta opens, and about the beta itself.
• To decide the order in which we invite people, using the optional answers.
• To keep the form working and free of automated abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing, and we do not send unrelated marketing email.

Cookies and analytics

We set no cookies of our own, and we run no analytics and no advertising pixels. Our own form is protected by a signed token embedded in the page rather than by a session cookie.

One third party does set a cookie. The register-interest form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which sets a _GRECAPTCHA cookie and examines how you interact with the page in order to tell people from bots. We use it for that and for nothing else, and we do not receive an advertising profile of you from it. Google’s handling of that data is covered by their privacy policy. If you would rather not have it run, email support@weldhtml.com and we will add you to the list by hand.

If we ever add analytics we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any such cookie is set.

Fonts

This page loads its typefaces (Geist and JetBrains Mono) from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore requests those font files from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We send Google nothing else about you.

Who else sees your details

A short list, each for one purpose:

• Our hosting provider: the server this site and its database run on.
• Our email provider: delivers the notification of your signup to us. Your email address is in it, because it is the point of the message.
• Google reCAPTCHA: tells people from bots when the form is submitted. It receives your IP address and how you interacted with the page, and nothing you typed into the form.

How long we keep it

Until the beta invitations are done, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever is sooner. Email support@weldhtml.com and we will delete your record promptly. The abuse-prevention log of submission times is kept briefly and is not linked to your name.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@weldhtml.com. We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA); if you are in the EEA or UK you may also have rights under the GDPR, which we will honour.
